It's a great summer at the Y!
City-owned Pools will be open for regular operating hours. City-owned Cottonwood Creek and Memorail Park Recreation Centers will be open from 8am-4pm.
The Downtown and Tri-Lakes YMCA Family Centers will be open from 7:00am-1:00pm.
All other YMCA Family Centers will be closed Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of Memorial Day.

Jump into summer

Jump into summer with the City of Colorado Springs and the YMCA on May 26 for the opening of Monument Valley, Portal and Wilson Ranch Pools and Cottonwood Creek and Memorial Park Recreation Centers. Get healthy, learn to swim, celebrate birthdays, and host your next office party at any of these fun sites. Members get unlimited swimming with a family season pass for $175 and $120 for individuals. Summer Day Camp 2012

What are your kids doing this summer? Click here to find out how they could be swimming, exploring, learning and having fun at the Y's Summer Day Camp. Six locations, 11 weekly sessions and tons of ways to be a kid! For those enrolled in Summer Day Camp, Before and After Camp Care is provided at no additional charge from 6:30-8:30 am and 4:30-6:00 pm. YMCA Lifeguard Full Certification Course

The widely accepted YMCA lifeguard course is leading the way in lifeguarding. The course is an intense, experiential, multimedia training. Successful guard candidates will have the skills and knowledge to perform rescues and to prevent aquatics accidents. Course includes lifeguard, CPR/PR-AED, First Aid and Oxygen administration certifications. Space is limited. Register in person or on-line. A prerequisite swim is required. Successful applicants need to be able to tread water without hands, swim front crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke kick and sidestroke.

Required pre-swim May 18, 6:00pm-7:00pm

Candidates must be 16 years old by last day or class. Proof of age required.
